Let’s Go Birding Together (with LGBTQ Outdoors)
This birding event is not hosted by or in partnership with Aiken Audubon Society, but perhaps you are interested in this local opportunity with LGBTQ Outdoors!
Whether you are a fledgling birder or soaring with confidence, you’ll enjoy a leisurely morning searching for birds and building community along the way. Join LGBTQOutdoors Ambassador, Victoria Dinkel, and local bird-nerd, Jessica Miller, at one of the top birding hotspots in El Paso County. Bring binoculars if you have them or borrow a pair for free from the host site.
Register with LGBTQ Outdoors at THIS LINK. Hike length will be 2.5-3 miles, on a mostly flat, gravel trail. Birders of all levels welcome. Please wear close-toed shoes and sun protection, bring water and a camera if you would like.
