Join Pat Paternostro and Aiken Audubon for a fall bird walk on Saturday, October 3^rd at Kettle Lakes.

We will look for lingering fall migrants and hope to welcome some returning winter species, waterfowl, and raptors. This is a great birding location with diverse ecosystems that offer a variety of birds. The walk will last approximately 3 hours and is fairly easy with just a few hills and slight inclines. There are a few porta-potties on site.

We will meet at the Kettle Creek Lakes parking lot. From I-25 take exit 150 (North Academy) and go west. Drive towards the south Academy entrance and take the first right. There is no street sign but you turn right at the Pass & Registration building and go to the end of the road. If you reach the south gate of the Academy, you missed the turn.
