Cross Creek Regional Park and Big Johnson Reservoir birding trip – Saturday November 7th.
Join Pat Paternostro and Aiken Audubon for a birding trip to Cross Creek Regional Park and Big Johnson Reservoir.
We will meet at Cross Creek and bird the perimeter of the pond looking for up-close views of returning waterfowl including Canvasback, Redhead, and others.
From there we will head to Big Johnson Reservoir and scope from a couple different spots, looking for grebes, ducks, gulls and raptors.
If you have a scope, please bring it along.
We will meet at the parking lot of Cross Creek Regional Park at 8am (8115 Parkglen Drive, Fountain).
We should wrap at Big Johnson around 11am.
