Fall migration will be in full swing in September at Chico Basin Ranch! We’ll stop at the banding station, then look for warblers and flycatchers coming through as well as Scaled Quail, Ladder-backed Woodpeckers, Canyon Towhees and Northern Mockingbirds. One of the joys of the Chico migrant trap is you never know what will show up! Details to follow, but plan on a timeframe of 7:30 to noon or 1:00. High-clearance vehicles will be needed, as will your $10 for the Chico entrance fee. Contact Linda Hodges at [email protected] to register.
