Not an early bird? Frustrated that every birding trip starts while you’re still snoozing? Then this trip is for you! Join Aiken board members Anna Joy Lehmicke and Tally Kerr for an afternoon of birding at Kettle Lakes, near the Air Force Academy entrance. We’ll hope to find a variety of waterbirds on and around the lakes, as well as migrant and resident songbirds in the surrounding trees and brush. Plan on a leisurely 2-3 mile walk on easy terrain (roads and groomed trails). Please RSVP below – group size will be limited to 12 people.
