DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, January 7\nProspect Lake (2pm) & Mash Mechanix (4pm)\n\n– Prospect Lake is an urban recreational site\, but this large body of water is a magnet for waterfowl and gulls in the winter. Who knows what may pop up here! Afterwards we’ll pop over to Mash Mechanix.\n– Difficulty: Easy. We will be on relatively flat terrain and will walk about 1.25 miles.\n– Bring binoculars and dress for the Colorado Springs forecast. Bring a scope if you have one. Let Jessica know if you need to borrow a pair of binoculars.\n– Meet at the Swing High Playground parking lot on the south west side of the lake; a house across the street has the address 812 Prospect Lake Dr.\n\n– Please RSVP by emailing Jessica at jessicaisbirding@gmail.com
