Aiken Audubon Society used to sponsor our own Bluebird Project wth the goal of creating a "trail" of Bluebird nest boxes across Colorado. It is an ambitious project: one intended to replace lost nesting habitat.

We do not currently have a volunteer to head this project. Tasks include locating all existing bluebird box trails within the Pikes Peak region, taking an inventory of sites suitable for box placement, and procuring and installing nest boxes for the current breeding season. Boxes will need to be monitored and data reported to the National Bluebird Project.
